Christopher Lazzara, Trustee and Director

Chris Lazzara is the CEO of MountainStar Capital, where he is involved in all phases of the firm’s investment strategies and operations. He has experience in commercial and residential real estate acquisition, financial asset allocation, consulting, venture capital and management. He also has expertise in healthcare logistics and acquisitions. Before founding MountainStar Capital, Chris served as Managing Partner of Ponte Vedra Management Group, an asset management group with diverse real estate, securities and corporate holdings.

Chris is an active member in the community serving on several boards including the Mal Washington Foundation and is the Chair of the Community Outreach Committee of the University of North Florida’s Student Affairs Council. He is the Vice Chairman of young ambassadors for the Florida House in Washington. He graduated from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University, and has had specialized training in Private Funds Management from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. He is also a graduate of the Political Leadership Institute of Jacksonville.
